My interest in art began as a small child. Not having art supplies, I used wood charcoal from our home woodstove to draw on paper sacks, newsprint or whatever was available.

I later earned a Associate of Fine Art Degree from the Institute of American Indian Art (IAIA) in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Of my professional talents, painting is what I like to do best. My favorite media is oil on canvas, and also I like to do murals.

My favorite subjects are Nature and Native American culture, and history. I am a major Cover Artist for Canyon Records of Phoenix, Arizona and Sweetgrass Records of Saskatoon, Canada. My art has sold to private collectors, organizations, businesses, museums, and art galleries throughout the United States and Canada.

Art's studio is located in Hill City, South Dakota.
